Camping Sandaya Soulac Plage Soulac-sur-Mer

Beautiful and perfect

We just love Camping Soulac Plage Sandaya. It's located close to the beautiful beach and only a 15 minute bike-ride from Soulac sur Mer. We've been here twice, stayed on a camp side, a lodge tent and a bungalow and all three accomodations were lovely. The on-site store has everything you need and the staff is really helpful with wathever questions occure.

Lots of good, and some not so good.

Generally a really nice site with lots to recommend it but let down by a small number of frustrating issues, some easily fixed others needing greater investment.

Facilities very good. Children enjoyed the pool. Bathrooms excellent and washing facilities very high quality. The pitches didn’t have a water supply each. It was one point shared between two so be very clear that the pitches are not fully serviced. The kids play area could be so much better - maybe there will be some investment in this in future? The pool especially the lazy river was popular, but the area could do with a sweep and tidy. Lots of leaves etc. The weather wasn’t great for our stay and our pitch flooded due to lots of run off water caused mainly by a road repair right outside our pitch. Our belongings in our awning were soaked as large amounts of water had pooled under our flooring so we checked out early. Sandaya offered us another pitch they called an ‘overflow’ which wasn’t really a pitch, it was just a small patch of land which is not even shown on the site map. Overall, I would suggest you check which pitch you are allocated carefully before you take it. Make sure it has been properly maintained, and doesn’t have big dips in it and stay away from pitch I3! It will definitely flood in heavy rain.

Lovely site, lake is awesome and great facilities

Lovely campsite, big but well laid out so didn’t feel too big. Lake was amazing and our favourite part, great for paddle boarding and kids to play as not deep. Toilet block near us kept very clean and was well laid out, with no waiting times, although two of the showers needed to be held on to work. Visited the restaurant once and found it overpriced, with small portions and not great food. Pool was well laid out with lots to do for children, but a bit crowded for us, we definitely preferred the lake! The site took a while to quieten down at 23:30 but did settle, some nights staff drove round which helped. The shop was well stocked but very expensive, however there’s a decent sized supermarket a 5 minute drive away. The public lake has lots of hiring opportunities at good prices which we enjoyed. We had a tente sun, which was excellent value, well stocked and had comfortable beds and a big veranda. Great site

Camping Sandaya L'Anse du Brick Maupertus-Sur-Mer

Man hat das Gefühl als Camper nur ein lästiges Anhängsel zu sein. Die Stellplätze sind eine Buckelpiste mit Löchern bis zu 10 cm tiefe (sehr angenehm um einen Stuhl aufzustellen oder andere Campingmöbel). Der Bereich mit der Go Kart Bahn, Pump Track und Hühner hat dieses Jahr auch noch keine Pflege gesehen und wird als Abstellfläche für nicht mehr benötigtes Gerät benützt. Wenn Donnerstags Markt auf dem Platz ist wird die Zufahrt zu den Stellplätzen zugestellt, so das man weder rein noch rauskommt. Auf dem Parkplatz gibt es Müllcontainer wo immer reichlich Müll davor steht und von den ganzen Glasscherben wollen wir gar nicht erst reden. Außerdem muss man über kleine Schotter Haufen steigen um dahin zu kommen. Mülltrennung gibt es hier nicht. Das Restaurant das auf dem Platz ist und mit Pizzeria beworben wird hat ganze 3 Pizzen im Angebot. Laut Rezeption kann man da ohne Reservierung essen gehen, unsere Erfahrung war anders. Wir wollten dort Essen gehen, hatten natürlich nicht reserviert und durften vor Ort auch nicht essen obwohl noch nicht reservierte Tisch frei waren. Essen mit auf den Platz nehmen war jedoch möglich, aber keine Pizza, die war anscheinend ausverkauft. Wir haben Pommes, Burger und Chicken Nuggets gewählt. Die Pommes waren nicht durch und der Burger meiner Frau noch halb Roh. Ich kann den Platz zum Campen nicht empfehlen, in der Gegend gibt es reichlich Campinglätze, die bestimmt besser sind.

3 relaxing Sandaya holidays 😎

We have stayed at 3 different Sandaya sites and have loved them all. We like a quiet stay so would always recommend not being too close to the entertainment! The accommodation is always very good - we love knowing what we are arriving to - a well equipped, comfortable stay with a great pool with slides. We love Sandaya and just wish there were more across Europe.

Buena estancia en general, parcela grande y sombreada con vistas al lago. A mejorar los baños, el primer bloque sanitario es increíble pero el resto de bloques creo que deberían reformarse. La zona de juegos para niños es fantástica.
