Verrückt das in einem sehr touristischem Gebiet nur französisch gesprochen wird. Mit Ausnahme der Rezeption und einer (!) Person im Restaurant die in der Lage waren Englisch zu sprechen, war das schon sehr befremdlich. Bisher haben wir das für ein Gerücht gehalten, aber wenn alles vor Ort nur in Französisch verfügbar ist, ist das Urlaubserlebnis schon sehr eingeschränkt.

Lovely cabin, great swimming pool, very helpful staff

Lovely cabin, great swimming pool, very helpful staff. Only issue was that you could hear the evening entertainment until late at night wherever you were on site - whether you wanted to or not - meaning that the kids couldn't get to sleep until it had finished.

Camping Sandaya Le Grand Dague Atur

Excellent premium accommodation, pools suited for younger children.

Our premium accommodation in the Cyrano quarter was excellent. The location was away from the entertainment and was peaceful as we had asked for. The pools were very busy as it was peak holiday season but we arrived near opening time to be able to find a sun bed. The staff in reception were very pleasant and helpful. The staff around the pool area were trying to maintain the rules but sometimes they were inconsistent. You must wear the correct bathing shorts (tight fitting shorts or jammers) as this was clearly enforced. The location of the site was good near Périgueux. We chose to leave the site to find a boulangerie for fresh pastries as the on-site ones weren’t great. The bread was ok. I don’t feel like this site was suited to older children. We didn’t use the kids club but the pools and play area were more suited to younger kids (under 8).

Wir kommen nicht wieder

Grundsätzlich ein schöner und direkt am Meer gelegener Platz. Bei der Bewertung müssen wir aus unserer Erfahrung zwischen den einzelnen Punkten allerdings deutlich differenzieren. Nach der Ankunft wurden wir auf den Parkplatz gegenüber vom Platz verwiesen, da ein parken auf dem Platz erst nach Check In möglich ist. Während wir darauf gewartet haben, dass unser Mobile Home fertig wird, wurde unser Auto aufgebrochen und sämtliches Gepäck entwendet. Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) hatten nur noch das, was wir am Körper trugen. In so einer Situation hat das Management im Kundenservice komplett versagt. Keinerlei Empathie, keine Hilfe oder eine kleine Geste des guten Willens (wie z.B. ein Satz Handtücher) Die Handtücher mussten wir bezahlen… Hilfe bekamen wir von Patricia, die uns in allen Belangen unterstützt hat (Abschleppen, Werkstatt, Reparatur etc), dafür ein großes Dankeschön! Der Strand ist sehr schön, sauber und weitläufig. Der Pool ist in Ordnung, aber kein Highlight. Hier ist Luft nach oben. Z.B. sollte man das verbot des Ballspieles im Pool überdenken. Das Mobile Home war in Ordnung. Steckdosen in den einzelnen Zimmern und ein kleines Waschbecken im WC wären wünschenswert. Wer im Restaurant essen möchte, sollte vorher reservieren. Abends kann man dort leider auch nur Pizza essen. Es wäre schön, wenn man abends auch die Mittagsgerichte bestellen könnte. Als Fazit kann man sagen, dass der Platz in Ordnung mit Luft nach oben ist. Wir werden auf diesen Campingplatz nicht zurück kommen, was im wesentlichen mit dem extrem schlechten Verhalten und nicht vorhandenen Service des Managements zu tun hat.

Enjoyed our family stay. Pool great. Clean facilities. Need to improve quantity of other facilities.

Excellenf swimming facilities. Our kids spent a lot of time in the pool area. Staff were great. Facilities were very clean. I would like to see the campsite investing in installing more Table tennis tables, and more areas to play petanque. The park needs improving, and the football/ basketball area is small for the size of the campsite. By increasing the number of these facilities it would allow more people to access these facilities. Would go back again.
