Lovely site, lake is awesome and great facilities

Lovely campsite, big but well laid out so didn’t feel too big. Lake was amazing and our favourite part, great for paddle boarding and kids to play as not deep. Toilet block near us kept very clean and was well laid out, with no waiting times, although two of the showers needed to be held on to work. Visited the restaurant once and found it overpriced, with small portions and not great food. Pool was well laid out with lots to do for children, but a bit crowded for us, we definitely preferred the lake! The site took a while to quieten down at 23:30 but did settle, some nights staff drove round which helped. The shop was well stocked but very expensive, however there’s a decent sized supermarket a 5 minute drive away. The public lake has lots of hiring opportunities at good prices which we enjoyed. We had a tente sun, which was excellent value, well stocked and had comfortable beds and a big veranda. Great site
