The booking experience with Elise was excellent, she is lovely. Unfortunately on our arrival it was a very different experience, we have been staying at Ans du Brick for over 10 years on and off. Our pitch contained used toilet paper, so looked like someone had emptied their cassette on the pitch by the hedge. I didn't complain s I was only there for 2 days and there was no smell. We were always put at the top of the site even when on ACSI and noticed that a lot of the pitches have gone were not available to us. It appears that ACSI card holders are put on the worst pitches now and have experienced this on other sites.

....wir waren schon mehrfach in den verschiedensten Sandaya-Häusern und -Standorten und leider war dies unser schlechtester Aufenthalt

- Cottage Waikiki entsprach nicht der gewohnten "Premium"-Kategorie, z. B. schon für 2 Personen zu wenig Schrank- bzw. Ablageflächen (eben Leben aus dem Koffer), veraltete Terrassenmöbel der Vorgängerbetreiber des Campingplatzes, insgesamt ungepflegter Terrassenbereich bzw. etwas mehr Farbe wäre es wert gewesen - die im Preis inbegriffenen Fahrräder waren keinen Cent wert (Schaltungen defekt, Reifen ohne Luft - passende Luftpumpe konnte nicht bereit gestellt werden, Bremsen nicht gewartet etc.), SUP mit abgebrochener Finne (befragter Techniker riet uns, das Board an einem leerstehenden Haus zu tauschen...) - lieblos ungemütliches Ambiente des zentralen Bar- und Restaurantbereichs - Abend-Animation für Erwachsene ab 14 Jahre ungenügend (Kindertrickfilm als Abendunterhaltung, selbst die abendlich/nächtlichen Tanzveranstaltungen blieben nur auf (Klein)Kinder ausgerichtet - Kontiki-Bar war auch keine Alternative (versteckter Standort, zu helles Licht etc. Atmosphäre entsprach ebenfalls in keinster Weise dem angepriesenen Aloha-Hawaii-Flair der Anlage Zum Schluss das Positive: - der weite Sandstrand - die interessante Umgebung und - die insgesamt freundlichen Mitarbeiter und Animateure.

Pitch was poor. Only partly hard standing, other half was soil/sand so after a heavy rainfall directly outside the motorhome was mud ! Other pitches were fine with fully gravelled areas, this was a particularly poor pitch. We did visit reception who advised it would be reported, however having waited 24 hours with no resolution we revisited reception to be advised the problem couldn't be rectified with only option to use this feedback !

Disappointing and dangerously overcrowded

There was no bed linen (which we had booked in advance) in our lodge, and no mattress/pillow protectors were provided either (which we discovered from the campsite leaflet should have been). The floor of our lodge was held together with dirty and unsightly black tape, and the table was filthy. The rental units were dangerously close together - if one were to catch fire, it would spread throughout the site within seconds. This also meant that there was a lot of noise from within neighbouring units. Given the amazing scenery surrounding the campsite, it could and should have been a beautiful site, but it isn't.

Cabana Magic is in horrible location

Cabana Magic we stayed in is in horrible location just next to the train tracks and loud football field. We hardly get any sleep for two nights. The canana was dirty and we needed to clean each kitchen utensil before the first use. They were still having coffee and food leftovers on them. The camping itself was ok but cabin experience obershadowed any joy of visiting this spot. Shop and restaurant are quite expensive. The pool had limited spots and we needed to wait in a queue. I was do happy we only booked for two nights. Maybe in a mobile home on the other end of the campsite it would be more pleasant experience. There is no mention in the description of Cabana Magic about the noises you may hear around. If I knew, I would just booked different accomodation.
