Fantastic stay, friendly and helpful staff. This was our 5th stay at this site... Always enjoy it, the location is perfect for us, lots to see and do. The new playground/entertainment area is fantastic, kids loved their evenings there. Pool area is looking dated now though and the revamp to the playground highlights this. Slides have been taken away by the lake, so now one of the few "big" campsites we've stayed in in France without waterslides of some description. Overall a great holiday, as always.

Staff were always very pleasant. Toilet block was clean and had toilet roll and soap most of the time. There was a mix up with a fridge we had reserved for the stay but which the reception weren't aware of despite email communication in the weeks before we arrived. Staff really tried to help to make sure we had a fridge but there were a few days in the middle of the holiday where we didn't have one.

Camping Sandaya Château des Marais Muides Sur Loire

Clean site, well run, spacious caravans and surroundings.

We were very impressed with Sandaya. Very clean site, well run, spacious caravans and surroundings. Great location for exploring the Loire Valley. The pool was great and in general you could get a lounger when you wanted. They had a late night swim session until 10pm on a Saturday, but there were no lights in the pool! It was completely pitch black so safety is an issue there. Our main issue was that the bar closed every night at 10pm, even the toilets within weren't accessible. Given that the evening entertainment carried on until 10:30 it seemed madness to do this! Very frustrating and highlights a disconnect between the bar and the campsite. Given that there is nothing else nearby you are a bit stuck. So I wouldn't recommend going unless the bar opening times are changed. Apart from that, it's a lovely site, but we wouldn't go back.

Séjour correcte dans l'ensemble malgré une animation trop calme et mal répartie. Très déçu par certains animateurs pour activités adultes car pas toujours impliqué et un peu mou. Nous regrettons David, Max et Amélie qui allaient beaucoup vers les gens et prenez leur job vraiment très à cœur. C'est ce qui a vraiment manqué cette année car pour nous c'est primordial d'avoir une très bonne animation au sein d'1 camping, surtout pour un 5 étoiles!!!! Mention spéciale pour Nicolas pour les séances dynamiques d'aquagym tous les matins. Le bar et le restaurant qui restent toujours au top avec du personnel très souriant et serviable.
