Clean site, well run, spacious caravans and surroundings.

We were very impressed with Sandaya. Very clean site, well run, spacious caravans and surroundings. Great location for exploring the Loire Valley. The pool was great and in general you could get a lounger when you wanted. They had a late night swim session until 10pm on a Saturday, but there were no lights in the pool! It was completely pitch black so safety is an issue there. Our main issue was that the bar closed every night at 10pm, even the toilets within weren't accessible. Given that the evening entertainment carried on until 10:30 it seemed madness to do this! Very frustrating and highlights a disconnect between the bar and the campsite. Given that there is nothing else nearby you are a bit stuck. So I wouldn't recommend going unless the bar opening times are changed. Apart from that, it's a lovely site, but we wouldn't go back.
