Camping Sandaya Domaine du Verdon Castellane

Ignored. We emailed when booking and said we were a camping car, paid for a premium pitch and we’re given a pitch with two trees in the middle We found a suitable pitch walked back to the reception advising them. We realised that the replacement pitch was much cheaper not being Premium river front and emailed reception asking them to refund the difference. That email was ignored, as both the other emails we have sent since leaving the site! As the weather was bad, which is no fault of the campsite (although the could do something about the muddy pitches and rutted water logged roads) having paid in advance for four nights we left early on the second morning, our choice, happy to loose two paid nights, our choice, but even that was hard, reception had forgotten to put our camping car on the ANPR barrier system, so despite paying for four nights on a Premium pitch, and staying only two nights on a normal pitch, the system was holding us hostage. Not wishing to waste more travelling time we found a cleaner

Schöner Campingplatz, Pech mit der Unterkunft

Der Campingplatz ist gepflegt, die Anlage macht einen insgesamt sauberen Eindruck. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Gastro-Angebot ist ausreichend. Es gibt ein Restaurant mit Service und eine Snackbar, beide bieten Speisen und Getränke in guter Qualität. Für Kinder gibt es verschiedene Spielplätze, das Angebot ist abwechslungsreich. Der Grund für die Drei-Sterne-Bewertung: Das Mobilheim (Kategorie 4 Sterne) war nicht sauber. Die Fußböden (insbesondere unter den Betten) waren schmutzig bzw. staubig, am Geschirr klebten Speisereste, ebenso in der Spülmaschine, die nicht wirklich als solche zu benutzen war. Zudem befanden sich in allen Räumen Spinnweben an den Decken und in Ecken. Es krabbelten auch beim Bezug des Mobilheims zahlreiche Spinnen herum, in einem Raum waren es 15 Stück. Zudem waren immer wieder Ameisen in der Unterkunft. Die Terrasse war ebenfalls schmutzig. Tische, Stühle, Liegen und Wäscheständer waren voll mit Spinnweben und heruntergefallenen Blüten. Die Terrasse wurde nach dem Hinweis an der Rezeption mit Wasser abgespritzt, aber nicht wirklich gereinigt. Fazit: Schöner Campingplatz, Pech mit der Unterkunft

Der Platz war ok, der Badebereich top, wobei ich Bedenken hab das es ziemlich voll und eng wird wenn der Platz voll belegt ist. Mietunterkunft war schon älter, aber ok. Schade war das unsere Kinder gerne die im Plan ausgeschriebene Kinderdisco besucht hätten, 2x fand sie garnicht statt und 1x müsste man sie Babydisco nennen. Es gab 3 leise Kinderlieder und dann war sie auch scbon wieder vorbei.
