Lovely site, nice staff and a great location

Lovely site with new and clean chalets. Great facilities although they could do with some more apparatus in the children’s play park and having all but 1 entrance/exit to the pool wasn’t great or the safest. The staff were very friendly and worked really hard. Great location for exploring the local area. Highly recommend

Platz in schöner Lage, aber leider in einem Funkloch

Wichtigster Grund für die Bewertung: der Platz liegt in einem Funkloch. Obschob wir beide Verträge mit hohem Datenvolumen haben, konnten wir unsere E Mails nicht abrufen und auch nicht telefonieren. Selbst an der Rezeption, die als WiFi Hotspot fungierte, war dies oft nicht möglich. Unangenehm fanden wir auch die nachdrückliche Forderung nach einer Kaution (290,00 EUR), obwohl wir keinen Schlüssel fürs Abstellhäuschen, noch eine Schrankenkarte wollten, bzw. brauchten.

A good stay spoilt by a large dog next to us not kept on a lead. This could be better policed. We’ve stayed here twice before and enjoyed the stay on all occasions. We stayed in early June before the main holidays and noticed that many of the pitches have been changed to cabins. This always changes the character of a campsite. Hopefully it won’t turn into a holiday camp such as Butlins but retain its camping feel.
