Nice campsite with good shaded pitches and great facilities. Can be very noisy late into the night with children around the site. Site is a little isolated but great cycle paths from campsite lead in all directions.

Die Lage unseres Stellplätze war super. Aber Bestellungen im Restaurant haben ewig gedauert. Außerdem wurde dort nicht einmal englisch verstenden. Es gab keine freien Liegen am Pool und es war auch im Wasser sehr voll.

We were given a very poor cottage at first where there was no river view because it was overgrown and the cottage had very little space around it. We could not have just a drink in the restaurant at a decent table as they save them for diners despite being empty. We were told to leave twice a day early because of a mistake made by reception and no real apology which spoilt our last day.

Camping Sandaya Soulac Plage Soulac-sur-Mer

Zweites Jahr Sandaya

Wir waren das zweite Jahr auf diesem Sandaya Campingplatz. Dieses Jahr haben wir ein etwas größeres Haus gebucht als im letzten Jahr. Allerdings beides Mal mit der Ausstattung zwei Muscheln. Leider war das Haus anscheinend eines der älteren Häuser dort. Beim letzten Aufenthalt hatten wir, außer einer Ameinsenstraße durch das Haus, keine Probleme. Die Terasse des Hauses wurde wohl seit längerem nicht mehr gereinigt bzw gefegt. So dicke und große Spinnennetze habe ich selten gesehen. Auch der Holztisch mit Bank hatte bessere Zeiten erlebt. Das Wasser beim Duschen wurde abwechselnd warm und kalt, außerdem war die Brause so angebracht dass es nicht möglich war sich darunter zu stellen. Der Strahl prallte direkte gegen die Duschtür und setzte wenn man nicht aufpasste direkt das Badezimmer unter Wasser. Kein Wasserkocher, was wir im letzten Haus sehr wohl hatten. Insgesamt ein sehr düsteres Haus ,ohne Platz drumherum, wie es fast allen anderen Häuser haben. Wir würden wieder zu diesen Platz fahren, allerdings dann auf jeden Fall mit aussuchen des Wunschhauses. Sonst ist dort alles auf dem Platz sehr sauber, super Pool, schöne Spielplätzen für die Kinder und ein gut sortierter Kaufladen.

Sehr enger Campingplatz zum Einparken und Wenden mit Wohnwagen. Cocktails nicht zu empfehlen. Sauberkeit in Duschen und Toiletten auf dem Boden ist schlecht. Haare überall. Spielplatz sehr eintönig und es gibt nur einen. Alle Progammpunkte finden nur auf Französisch statt, Minidisco leider auch nur mit französischen Liedern. Öffnungszeiten des Minimarkts sehr eingeschränkt.

Fabulous but the mosquitoes!!

We couldn’t eat outside at any point as we felt attacked by mosquitoes!!! They ruined our holidays, I understand it’s a beautiful forested area but the site could easily be sprayed like many others. It was very disappointing and stressful as they went after our children also. I wouldn’t t go to Parc Sequoia again due to this and couldn’t t recommend to friends due to this. Everything else from food to swimming pool to kids camps were amazing but the level of mosquitoes was crazy. Eaten alive at times !

The only thing I had a gripe about was that on checking in I was told there was no television working and no internet. I was not offered any perks to compensate for this. As I had paid for these facilities I felt that I should have been offered a sweetener to make up for this. In England we would have been offered a free meal, bottle of wine etc to make up for the inconvenience. I have had several instances of this in France. I think as a business it?s not very professional. On the last day we wanted to get breakfast but there was no food served until 12pm.

Sanitärhaus und Spülbecken waren sehr verdreckt zu jeder Tageszeit, unsere Reservierung wurde nicht gefunden, obwohl ich alle Unterlagen dabei hatte, dann wurde uns keine Armbänder für die Personen mitgegeben. Obwohl ich die Länge des Wohnwagens angegeben habe, haben wir einen Stellplatz sehr weit hinten bekommen, wo wir kaum hin gekommen sind
