We loved the pool and restaurant area, but the mosquitoes on our pitch meant that we left 2 days early and went to another campsite. They were the worst we had ever seen in France and meant that we just could not sit outside at all. I know that this is difficult for the campsite to rectify but would put us off coming again.

The sanitary block was dirty and had sharp screws sticking out and an old worn out curtain. We hired a fridge but there was nowhere to plug it in. We raised all of these points with the manager but he basically said he didn?t care. ?Look around we are full? he was rude and unhelpful. We eventually got some help from a maintenance guy who came past. We have been to Sandaya quite a few times now. I?ve never been so disappointed. Our pitch was old and dirty and we were charged the same as others who had new refurbished pitches.

Leider war ein Problem mit dem Pool so das 2 Pools für 2,5 Tage geschlossen waren . Da die Poolanlage eh schon zu klein für alle Gäste war war dies an den 2,5 Tagen echt für den einen Pool zuviel und sehr unangenehm. Wir hatten dazu auch noch Haus mit 4 Muscheln gebucht was aber nicht sein Geld wert war , wir hatten auf anderen Plätzen schon Häuser mit weniger Muscheln die besser ausgestattet waren

Camping Sandaya Sanguinet Plage Sanguinet

Its a no from our family

The campsite felt quite different to other Sandaya campsites that we have stayed on, and was not worthy of a five star rating. The pool was cramped and grubby with nowhere near enough sun loungers. The bar/entertainment area felt very basic and was poorly laid out.The entertainment programme was not as busy as we have seen elsewhere. The staff were not as friendly. Security was less visible. The campsite shop was pretty basic and shut for much of the day - I just cycled up the road to Intermarche. We arrived at 1600 as instructed but our accommodation wasn't ready. The pitches were quite small. Access to the beach was good however and the lake is great and safe for young families. You can also use the facilities of the campsite next door which are much nicer.

Sehr laut. Kommt auf den Stellplatz an, den wir bekommen haben war auch Nachts laut. Direkt neben unserem Platz wurde Nachts noch Wäsche gewaschen, Kinder haben dort Nachts gespielt, Getränkeautomaten wurden Nachts benutzt, Eltern sind zum Telefonieren an den Platz (direkt neben unserem Stellplatz, Toiletten waren relativ weit weg. Sehr viele Stechmücken. Sind anschließend auf mehreren anderen Campingplätze gewesen wo wir all diese Probleme nicht hatten. Sind früher abgereist und haben unser Geld nicht zurück bekommen. Habe schon viel gesehen, das war mit Abstand der schlechteste Campingplatz.

Viel zu kleine Plätze für Wohnwagen. Die Wege zu den Plätzen sind nicht für 2,5m breite Wohnwagen gemacht. Sanitäranlagen waren nicht sauber. Gefühlt nur eine Reinigung am Tag. Badelatschen müssen vor dem Badebereich ausgezogen werden. Die Steine danach sind sehr heiß. Am Pool ist es sehr laut & das Wasser ist sehr warm. Es dürfen keine Shorts im Pool getragen werden.

Do t go there with kids unless you are French

Too many guests for such a small pool area. No English speaking staff and several water park lifeguards who shouted like crazy and was physical with the children. They even put small kids in “time out” without noticing parents, where the had to be quarantined in rows next to the life guards. I have never seen anything so crazy.

There is also almoat no shadow there so it?s impossible to use during the day. Additionally, to my surprise, playground is being closed every day at 9 pm. I have never seen anything like that at any camping sites. Slides at the swimming pool are also destroyed and rusted. Everything is wobbeling.There is no shadow and there are even no sunshades available.Additionally, a service guy entered my mobile home during my absence and without my knowledge and consent. This is shocking and totally unacceptable! During our 6-day stay, there was an energy blackout and no running water for half a day. Wifi must be paid additionally 15 Eur per one device and doesn’t even work properly! That was the worst camping holiday I have ever had
