Sehr laut, auch nach 23.30 Uhr, da die Veranstaltungen auf dem Platz selber die Ruhezeiten nicht einhalten. Oft bis nach 0.00 Uhr. Außerdem extrem laut vom Nachbarcampingplatz. War bisher zur Erholung für unsere Ansprüche der schlechteste Campingplatz. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich!

The location of the site was 5 star being right on the beach. The facilities unfortunately were one star. The toilet blocks and site facilities definitely need an update. Shower was cool and lights and water cut off in 3 or 4 seconds. The toilet blocks also need to be cleaner.The swimming pool also needs updating as there are no showers or lockers to use.

A pleasant campsite. However, the campsite was running down to the end of season. The onsite shop was not being restocked. The restaurant was closed and the condition of the pitches below standard. i.e. covered in mud, rutted. Suggestion: prepare pitches so that they drain effectively.

Au tarif du camping 4 étoiles je pense que la wi fi pourrait etre gratuite.Camping trés décevant j etais habitué à mieux avec votre chaine.

Camping Sandaya Escale Saint-Gilles Bénodet

Overal was a good experience but some parts of stay have dropped since our previous visits.

Overal was a good experience but some parts of stay have dropped since our previous visits. This was our third time to stay Escale St Gilles and second under the management of sandaya, the campsite has the perfect location for all families close to the beach and short walk, cycle or the petite train trip. The pool area is clean and well laid out and perfect for all ages, the playground has been moved this year due to the car park been moved and compared to previous stays we only ventured to it once with our children who were 3,5 and 7 others we meet didn't even know it was there and some the equipment is not in use amd dumped in the field. Food wise the take away is good and we haven't eaten at the restaurant on site during any of our stays. The shop is ok and caters for the basics. This year we visited in low season September and our children were delighted to see Dennis back in action doing the entertainment as was not present last year, and is absolutely wonderful with the children's events as was Nasssim. Visiting in low season without them there our holiday would have been less enjoyable without them and also Valerie who made plenty of chat with our children. The campsite has alot going for it but needs to bring the playground back within the main park and our biggest issue this year was the amount of dogs and them been walked by our accommodation to urinate which doesn't make for a safe and clean space for children to play by the accommodation .

Kids loved it, parents much less impressed

Our boys 8 & 5 years had a great, loved the pool & slides, perfect for their ages. Our impressions were not so positive - Tired site, broken play equipment in places, lacking cleanliness in some areas, arrival cleanliness of our unit poor. Quality & state of bedding/towels shocking. Our unit was pre-picked for its location so had a quiet calm stay. Good mix of available sun & shade. Paid for a premium unit, can’t imagine how poor it would be if we hadn’t.

The restaurant and site shop didn?t look like they did in the brochure/website and felt quite worn out and not appealing. There was quite a lot of noise at times from students staying on site
