Camping Sandaya Le Littoral Talmont-Saint-Hilaire

Really nice site: excellent location: a few things could be done to bring up the standard again.

We enjoyed the stay overall, kids loved the pool, meeting new friends: staff are friendly and helpful. We did think that the standard of maintenance of the pitches/ pathways and sanitary blocks etc had declined compared to previous years. As I said in the full review some things to consider- cutting back of hedges on all pitches, they’re overgrown; cutting back hedges on the pathways/ they are a trip hazard particularly when the lighting in some areas is also lacking. Some more sunshades at the pool should be considered for people who don’t like full sun/ or have young children. Take away prices should not be the same as eating in, in my opinion. Some pitches need to be levelled - ours had a steep side to it, making it partially unusable. The location is excellent , great bike paths and just a short drive to Les Sables. Would definitely go back- just hope those little issues can be addressed for everyone’s benefit.

Lo mejor el tamaño de las parcelas

Las plazas son muy grandes y con vistas al río, resulta muy chula la experiencia. Los baños, para toda la gente que hay en el camping, deberían tener una limpieza más continuada. En cuanto a las instalaciones de piscina, parque infantil, ubicación, es muy buen lugar. En general hemos estado muy bien! A la próxima valoraría quedarnos en una plaza con baño privado.

Morgens und Abends gegen 10:00 Uhr war absolute Rushhour auf den Toiletten, zumindest bei uns, wo jeder Campingplatz belegt war. Durch die fehlenden Pissoires wurde das Problem verstärkt, da jetzt auch die Männer auf die Toiletten gehen müssen, wobei wir einige dabei beobachtet haben, wie sie ohne Duschsachen in einer Duschkabine verschwunden sind. Getrennte Toilette wären schön! Die neuen Duschen sind gewöhnungsbedürftig..., schwarze Fliesen in einigen Kabinen?!, sorry, nicht mein Fall, es gab aber auch andere Duschen. Für nächstes Jahr wünsche ich mir mehr Haken! Bitte auch Haken auf den Toiletten (für Nottoilettenpapier, Waschzeug etc), an den Waschbecken, am Fön etc. Man hat dort immer Sachen, die man NICHT auf den Boden legen möchte, die Ablageflächen neben den Waschbecken waren meist nass.
