Wir waren sehr unglücklich darüber, dass die Mobile Homes so nah aneinander stehen und wir uns wie in einer Legebatterie gefühlt haben. Vor allem ist es ärgerlich, dass dies bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich ist. Aus diesem Grund sind wir früher abgefahren.

Wir haben gemeinsam mit unseren Freunden gebucht und haben nicht die gebuchten Häuschen bekommen wofür jede Familie 30 Euro gezahlt hat. Die Sauberkeit auf dem Campingplatz ist miserabel. Im Haus, auf den öffentlichen Toiletten und an der Poolanlage. Keine Hüpfburg wie auf Bildern proglamiert. Spielplätze klein und in die Jahre gekommen. Nichts besonderes. Kaum Animation, schlechte Organisation, sehr ruhig, leerer Campingplatz in den Pfingstferien. Wollten ein Häuschen am Strand und uns wurde gesagt dass diese alle reserviert sind, dabei waren fast alle leer. Waren im hindersten Wald des Campingplatzes und hatten lange Wege. Kein Service oder Entgegenkommen an der Rezeption. Schade. Wir sind enttäuscht und kommen nicht wieder.

Der Campingplatz war noch lange nicht vorbereitet, Gäste zu empfangen. Die Dusch-und WC Hâuser nicht

Der Campingplatz war noch lange nicht vorbereitet, Gäste zu empfangen. Die Dusch-und WC Hâuser nicht fertig gestellt, zum Teil gesperrt, so dass man mit seinem Geschirr quer über den Platz laufen musste, geschweige denn für einen Toilettengang. Die Ausstattung der waschhäuser zum Teil sehr schlecht verarbeitet. Die Spiegel wurden mit Klebeband befestigt und vielen runter, die Zwischenwände gehen nicht runter zum Boden, zum Teil gab es schlitze und Löcher in den Zwischenwänden. Die Privatsphäre absolut nicht gewahrt. Nicht in allen Duschen konnte man sich auf warmes Wasser verlassen. Von den Handwerkergeräuschen fühlten wir uns auch sehr gestört. Auch das Waschmaschinenhäuschen war nicht fertiggestellt. Die 3 Punkte gibt es für die Location und die freundlichen Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Auch die Surfschule Backwash konnte mit den Kursen, Leihmaterial und super kompetenten Surflehrer überzeugen!

Asked reception 3 times over 3 days for glasses to drin and to fix a fault message on our dishwasher

Asked reception 3 times over 3 days for glasses to drink from and to fix a fault message on our dishwasher, never received or fixed anything, sewage was coming out of a manhole near our pitch, spoke to reception, 5 hours later someone came to fix it, still spewing the next morning, no barrier round it or warning signs. The pool was cold, we asked last year why it was so cold and was told the heating was broken, it was either broken again this year or they couldn't be bothered to lie to us. We've been going to this site for 7 years, and in all those years even though the takeaway advertised crepes, they are either not being made or have sold out, yes 7 years. Shame because the accommodation was good, poorly designed but still clean and modern, and the site is quiet and doesn't feel over crowded until it's really busy.

An sich hat uns das Gelände und die die Lage grundsätzlich sehr gut gefallen. Der Platz ist schön und das Angebot für Kinder passend. Was uns massiv allerdings gestört hat, ist, dass man am Pool keine Badeshorts also keine längeren Badehosen für Männer tragen darf. Dies ist eine Regelung, die doch sehr deutlich zeigt, dass dieser Platz noch nicht Zielgruppen gerichtet, agiert und noch in veralteten Regeln fest hängt.

Both of our young children where disturbed and as a result where not happy or well for the remainder of our trip. My wife was scared and elderly farther was unhappy.

DECEPCIÓN

Fuimos a la reapertura del camping Valencia como Sandaya llevándonos una decepción enorme. Desaparece la zona norte de acampada, las parcelas literalmente parecen campos de patatas, solo una o dos personas haciendo el checkin con una cola eterna, nos dicen que les ha pillado el toro, pero las parcelas a precio de resort, las piscinas sucias, las calles sucias, los sanitarios mal cuidados, etc. A todo esto le sumamos que no nos dejaron hacer el late check out porque..."tenian bastantes reservas", y todavía estamos esperando que nos devuelvan 15€ de la tarjeta ACSI. Os habéis cargado el camping Valencia, y no lo llaméis camping si lo único que os interesa es poner 2000 bungalows.

Check-in disaster. After a long queue we're allocated a pitch. It was occupied. The scooter guy went back to find another pitch. After another 30 mins told we had been upgraded to pitch 441. Horrible pitch that wasn't actually finished, large but basically dirt but with EHU and water on pitch. This is not the standard I would expect from Sandaya. The staff on site did their best but the system wasn't up to scratch.

Nosaltres vam tenir la mala experiencia d?un grup de 90 persones joves que tenien la musica molt forta i fins les 3 del mati no es van dignar a treure la musica! I al dia següent tambe va haver un altre moviment aquesta vegada diferent dels anteriors i tampoc vam poder dormir! I el camping tampoc va tenir cap detall amb nosaltres i vam tindre que deixar el camping a les 12h! Un detall hagues sigut marxeu quan us vagi be, ja que tampoc tenien el camping ple! No tornarem! Preferim un camping petit on estas molt mes acompanyat pels treballadors que no en un de gran!

Not as advertised

Not given the pitch we paid for, it was very small and potentially dangerous for our large motorhome, also without a sea view. That day, after discussion we temporarily moved to a larger pitch, then were told to move the same evening, as it was booked for the following day. We argued and after much discussion we were forced to move the following morning. Our children were very upset. The next morning we had to move to a below standard pitch without the facilities we paid for. No updates from staff, very poor customer service, after some days we had to ask staff if we could move when we saw many empty pitches a few days later. Indoor pool unavailable during much of our stay.
