Für ein Zwischenstopp wäre es ok aber für 1 Woche Urlaub wie bei uns nicht. Das Schwimmbad war von 6 Tagen 4 Tage immer wegen Überfüllung stundenweise zu bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur. Die letzen beiden Tage war es komplett geschlossen. Der Shop war überteuert und das Restaurant ebenso. Das Mobilheim war schmutzig es lief eine Flüssigkeit aus dem Kühlschrank aus das Geschirr war dreckig. Ansonsten war das Personal freundlich und informierte bei Fragen . Die Anlage selber hat schöne große Stellplätze.Wir sind bislang immer sehr zufrieden mit Sandaya das ist auch die erste Anlage mit der wir nicht zufrieden waren leider.

Kein Sandaya Standard wie erhofft

Sehr schlechte Infrastruktur auf dem ganzen Gelände - kaputte Zufahrtswege, viel Verkehr an und um die Plätze, schlechter Zustand der Freizeitanlagen z.B. Tennisplatz. Häufig ungepflegter Zustand z.B. Parkplätze, Bar, Kindereinrichtungen (viel Müll). Wir hatten das schon besser von Sandaya gesehen und wir können das 5Sterne-Rating nicht verstehen.

Camping Sandaya L’Île des Papes Villeneuve-lès-Avignon

Nice area but not enough to interest the children.

Nice campsite and good base for Provence area. Very little English speaking offering on site though if you are coming from the UK. This left my children unable to join in the teen club.

The campsite is very nice, clean toilet and shower facilities on the whole. The pool area was great also. During our camping trip our tent was over run with cockroaches. I have never experienced anything like this on a camping trip before. We were cleaning several times a day, kept all food in either a fridge or in sealed plastic boxes. It really did make our holiday far less enjoyable unfortunately. We do expect insects, that is a given but this experience was something else.

Wir waren bereits vor 5 Jahren auf diesem Platz und damals recht zufrieden. Leider wirken mittlerweile die Sanitäranlagen eher ungepflegt und waren teilweise kaputt. Auch, dass der Whirlpool nur noch für Erwachsene zugelassen ist, war sehr schade. Das war vor 5 Jahren noch anders. Das Personal war weiterhin freundlich.

Good location with lake, pool and sea

Beach and pool are great. Bakery also really good. Our tent pitch was not as expected but some of the rentals looked really nice. If one would stay there you would have a great holiday.

Lovely campsite with lots of space and activities. We were a large group and chalet quality and cleanliness differed significantly. Ours was very clean and well kept luckily but my elderly parents arrived to an unswept floor and generally unclean chalet. They were also give the wrong bedding despite paying extra for it, it was late when we arrived so they had to make do on the first night. Generally issues were dealt with quickly (parents in law didn’t have hot water and a new boiler was installed the next day.) The pool is fab for little kids but there isn’t a pool for swimming laps/exercise, there is the lake for swimming. Despite terrible weather we still had a fun week, the kids enjoyed the football tournaments, bouncy castle, pedalo’s, flumes and the older kids had a blast at the foam party even though it was a freezing night! The fireworks were also really good on Friday night. We had a couple of days trips out, Chateaux Chambord (an hours drive) is definitely worth a visit.

Nos dieron otro al lado de la piscina y zona de animación, una zona mucho más ruidosa y ajetreada. No eran las vacaciones que buscábamos pero nos tuvimos que conformar porque no nos dieron solución al error. Si que nos devolvieron el dinero que costaba la elección de bungalow y pidieron disculpas. Aún así nos sentimos algo engañados La estancia en el camping y las instalaciones muy bien

Der herbeigerufene Angestellte vom Campingplatz sagte nach Prüfung der Heizungsanlage, dass die Anlage sehr alt sei und eben nicht mehr richtig funktioniere. Es gab keine Lösung. Zum Glück waren wir nur 3 Tage. Für die Benutzung der Wildwasserrutsche musste ein Schwimmreifen gekauft werden. Aus Umweltschutzsicht sehr schlecht. Warum gibt es keine zum Ausleihen? Badebereich schön aber komplett überfüllt.
