Nice campsite but bad weather in July

Weather was not great but park was excellent. The chalet in the premium area was dark due to too much shade. Terrace never in sunshine. Park was clean and well maintained. Local area lovely.

Great environement but sewage smell issues

Our room smell like sewage. The bad smell was coming from our bathroom and kitchen sink. Otherwise, the personal is very kind and helpful. The camping is clean with lots of activities for kids in a beautiful environment.

Camping Sandaya Domaine du Verdon Castellane

Schöner Platz in bester Lage in wunderschöner Gegend

Schöne Anlage in bester Lage. Nah (1,2 km Fuß- und Radweg direkt vom Campingplatz) an dem schönen Örtchen Castellane gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten auf dem Platz und in Castellane gegeben. Schöne Poolanlage, die in der Hauptsaison jedoch etwas überlaufen ist. Eine Liege zu bekommen ist Glückssache. Sehr freundliches Personal. Ausreichend Sanitäranlagen, die in Anbetracht der Anzahl der Menschen, die hier Urlaub gemacht haben, unserer Meinung nach nicht ausreichend gereinigt wurden. Die Duschen waren abends oft schmutzig. Wir hatten einen Stellplatz am Wasser (am Bach, nicht direkt am Fluss). Dieser gefiel uns sehr gut. Die Größe war ausreichend und es war sehr ruhig. Das einzige was man hörte, war das Rauschen des Flusses und das Plätschern des Baches. Der Platz war sehr voll und vorne im Bereich der Animation war abends noch viel los. Auf unserem Stellplatz bekam man da nichts von mit und konnte die Ruhe genießen. Wir können uns vorstellen, wiederzukommen, wenn auch vielleicht nicht unbedingt direkt in der Hauptsaison. Die wunderschöne Gegend hat uns allen nämlich wahnsinnig gut gefallen.
