Camping sehr schön gelegen. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Dennoch einige Schwächen gegenüber vergleichbaren Plätzen. Mobilheim war bei Ankunft leider nicht sauber. Bei Freunden, die am selben Tag anreisten, war es genauso. Der Bereich, in dem unser Mobilheim lag, war begrünt, aber sehr ungepflegt. In den 2 Wochen nicht einmal einen Gärtner gesehen. Das Blumenbeet an unserer Terrasse ohne Blumen, dafür nur Unkraut und die Terrasse so vom Bambus überwuchert, dass man nicht dort liegen konnte. Schade! Bei entsprechender Pflege ein schönes Viertel. Am Pool stehen leider nur Liegestühle, keine Liegen und die Wassertemperatur lag doch deutlich unter dem, was wir auf einem 5-Sterne-Platz gewohnt sind.

The campsite had everything we needed for our stay. We were lucky with our pitch as it was spacious

The campsite had everything we needed for our stay. We were lucky with our pitch as it was spacious and on a corner, however lots of the other pitches were cramped and many people had access issues with caravans etc. I'd also say the campsite was very noisy during the night and into the early hours of the morning. The entertainment was excellent. I cannot praise the singers and dancers enough. Maybe more of it could have been dual language as a large percentage of the guests were Dutch. The surrounding area is beautiful and the site is well located for Pont D'Arc and other villages/towns like Lebeaume, Ruoms. However this also means that in peak season it is EXTREMELY busy on the roads, in the local supermarkets etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our 7 year old loved the pools, park and entertainment. The onsite shop is well stocked. One thing to be aware of with younger children is that the pools are across 2 sites with a road in between. It's like 2 separate campsites. Not an issue for us but we didn't realise that prior to our arrival.

I have been here many times before (30+ years) but never through Sandaya direct? accommodation much

I have been here many times before (30+ years) but never through Sandaya direct? accommodation much better than before. However site has been expanded and (I guess) about 20% more people on site. This is fine but facilities haven?t been upgraded or expanded so pool very busy, bar in evening can mean a long wait for drinks, line for bread in morning can be very long. Quality has not changed you are just sharing the quality with more people!

Pool closes at 7pm

The pool closes way too early otherwise would have given 9 or 10. Great facilities for families to keep younger children occupied. You are not allowed to take food or have chairs directly within the pool area which means you can always find somewhere nearby to sit.

Great for teens!

We paid extra to be pitched next to each other but this didn?t happen, grass pitches were a bit overgrown and scruffy but otherwise the site clean and tidy and everyone was friendly. Entertainment staff were fab and groundsmen were extremely helpful!

Great campsite. Weather unfortunately let us down but not your fault of course! Staff were lovely. The "welcome" in the car when we arrived was particularly good and well organised. We had kids aged 9, 10, 11 and 14 with us and they enjoyed their time. Unfortunately they only went to kids club once or twice. Again they probably would have done more had the weather been on our side, eh the days out etc.
