Loved every minute!

We had the best stay, the kids loved it, we loved it. We stayed longer then intended. Will definitely be looking at booking next year!

it was not what I expected it to be

the bar is bad, not very friendly, many people at the bar, you wait a long time until someone asks you what you want to drink at the bar in some moments, the food is not what I expected for the area in which it is located, the accommodations are not as they should be, the heating radiators rusty shower that does not look at all for the quality it should be, disappointing :(

Great reception in English. Bungalow was very clean with everything we needed. We had a perfect location with being able to park our car outside. The entertainment for children and pool area was good. Shop was well stocked with everything needed plus fresh bread every day. The beach was 5 mins walk with the local town, Benodet, was a 20 min stroll away.

Katastrophe!

Katastrophe! Dieser Platz ist weit entfernt vom Sandaya-Standard. Unfreundliches Personal (sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt!) Ungepflegter Platz, keine Animation für Kinder, die Poollandschaft mit Gefahrenpotential. Darüber hinaus ist der Platz extrem windig und der Strand ist nicht zu nutzen. Insgesamt eine sehr unerfreuliche Erfahrung!

Lovely place. Very clean . Staff very friendly. Children really enjoyed it. Only downside is being 5km from nearest supermarket. Shop on site is good for bread and water but not great for a family with 4 kids. I knew we were a bit far out when booking camping Valencia but I assumed there would be public transport. No one could tell us how to avail of public transport though as it’s hard to find an English speaking staff and unfortunately our Spanish was not good either. The issue with the supermarket is even though the staff will phone a taxi for you to get there you have to find your own way back. Taxi drivers won’t wait or take a booking for them to collect you in an hour or so again. They will give you their card but they don’t speak English and it’s impossible to book them over the phone. My recommendation would be to download the taxi firms online app and book the taxi through that.

Camping Sandaya Les Amis de la Plage Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré

Beautiful location but camping pitches offer no privacy

The location of the site is beautiful. Toilet and sanitary areas are very clean and well maintained. However the camping pitches are small and crowded providing very little privacy. Our pitch was just sand and dust which turned to mud on a rainy day. Drinking water tap was at the sanitary block, a good walk away. Overall, not worth the price I paid which was expensive in comparison to other 4 star sites I visited in France.
