Slightly ruined by the amount of smoking allowed across the site particularly the non enforcement of no smoking in the pool complex and also the provision of ash trays at the small cafe beside the children’s pool area and smoking in the restaurant area. As such we didn’t eat in either the small cafe or restaurant.

Little dutch in the Ardennes

We had a nice stay in our new comfortable home in a car-free area. The camping is nicely surrounded by trees and by the river, with all the services available. A small piece of The Netherlands in the Belgian Ardenne.

Very disappointed with pitch. Premium pitch at ?38 per night was unkept, uneven , dark and dingy. Why on earth would you put premium pitches adjacent to main road and car park ! Excessive noise and constant banging from football/ basketball boards adjacent to pitch and excessive noise from staff cars arriving at 7:30 am with radios blasting out. Pool was far too hot as was lazy river , double slide was not in operation and pool area was not clean. Ridiculous marquee over one pool ( covered pool ) was a joke and much too oppressive in the hot weather. Toilets and showers were in no way adequate for the number of pitches. Advertised dog shower but staff had no idea where it was. All in all very disappointed in comparison to the other 5* sites we had stayed on in our 7 week holiday.
