Love Annecy, booked for proximity to lake but site is a little disappointing. We had a premium lodge at a premium price with very little effective sun shade, and everyone packed in like sardines. Three huge bags of dirty bed linen on our deck when we arrived, had to ask reception to get it removed and also had to ask for some basic kitchen items (chopping board, corkscrew etc.)

Viel los, wer Entertainment sucht der wird hier fündig.

Viel los, wer Entertainment sucht der ist gut aufgehoben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, überall. Wer lieber etwas mehr Privatsphäre sucht sollte eher woanders Urlaub machen. Wir fanden den Urlaub sehr schön. Das Mobilehome ist allerdings recht teuer für das was es ist: winzig! Der Poolbereich ist schön, allerdings voll und es gibt nur eine Toilette. Die stinkt ziemlich (bzw. auch der Duschbereich dort). Wir fanden es auch lästig für die Müllentsorgung immer zum Eingang zu müssen. Da verzichtet man dann lieber auf die Mülltrennung um nicht täglich den weiten Weg zu gehen

Camping Sandaya Les Alicourts Pierrefitte-sur-Sauldre

More staff needed to prevent MASSIVE queues for shop and bar.

Loved the accommodation and the site overall. However, my overall experience was tarnished by the amount of time wasted queueing at the shop or bar due to lack of staff. At the bar during the day there was normally only one person serving so even buying an ice cream offer took 20 minutes. In the evening, during the entertainment, the queue was out the door and took 30 mins at least. Really disappointing waste of time away from my family. On subsequent occasions, I took my own drinks. In the morning, the queue at the shop for baguettes and croissants was horrendous. Queuing out the door with 1 person actually on the till. There was 1 other member of staff stocking shelves seemingly unbothered by the queue and not getting on a till to help. It took me 45 mins to get breakfast. Not what I expect for a 5* campsite and simply fixed by having more staff!

Zusätzlich ist der Pool aus den 80igern, die Poolumrandund wird nie gereinigt, es lagen 14 Tage das gleiche Haarbüschel im Weg! Die Fliesen sind locker - Verletzungsgefahr und wir hatten 3Tage Stromausfall u erst am 3. Tag Informationen vom Manager erhalten. Wie wurden mit unseren verdirbenen Lebensmitteln in der Hotze allein gelassen. Wir hatten die gesamte letzte Woche nur kaltes Wasser in den Duschen u zum Abwaschen. Sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wir werden wohl nicht mehr wieder kommen.

Need more electric car chargers

The camp site is at a lovely location, our cabin was immaculately clean. However, it is lack of electric car charging points. There were only two chargers and always occupied! We had to drive miles away to charge our car. This almost ruined our experience staying there.

Camping Sandaya le Truc Vert

(Noch) kultiger und ursprünglicher Campingplatz, der leider zu teuer geworden ist.

Der Campingplatz ist im Vergleich zum Vojahr 70% (!!!) teurer geworden unter gleichen Bedingungen (gleicher Stellplatz, Personenanzahl und Zeitraum). Dafür gab es außer teils unvorteilhaft renovierten Sanitäranlagen nichts wirklich neues. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht mehr für dan ansonsten angenehmen Campingplatz.

Overall my family had a great holiday and we made lots of memories. The accommodation (Gardenia apartment) was a great size and well equipped. Sadly, our room was not cleaned once by housekeeping in 12 days and I had to ask repeatedly for a change of towels (5 times in total). Given I paid a significant amount to stay in a 'prestige' apartment I would expect much better. Also, there is a separate reception for 'residence' guests, but it is completely pointless and soulless. The staff working on this dedicated reception seem nice, but are ill equipped to do their job. Final gripe is with the awful, rude, condescending bar staff. They would laugh and talk in French behind our back ( we are English) Don't both wasting your time or money in there - drive to one of the many towns for lunch or dinner. Pool area is great, but was very very busy when we went. However, kids loved it and spent many hours there.

A beautiful place but with some facilities lacking. Disappointing to have to pay for leisure activities like a tennis court and there were a lack of sun loungers at the busy pool. Staff were not always friendly. The home was dated and grimy in corners, deck had seen better days and umbrella provided kept falling over. £500 worth of deposits needed for your home and bike hire so factor this in.
