Great Family Holiday

Love the campsite, staff are so friendly and place is so clean all of the time. Only niggle would be that the takeaway should have a different menu and price structure to the on site restaurant as there was no variation. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Als Manko empfanden wir, dass der Pool nicht länger zugänglich war (nur 19 Uhr). Zudem haben wir in 2 Wochen nur einmal Rettungsschwimmer am Strand gesehen. Es gab auch sehr viele Mücken - es half leider nicht immer das Mückenschutzspray. Der Platz an sich ist sehr sauber (wobei die Mülltrennung mit unserer nicht zu vergleichen ist), die Kinder haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. glückliche Kinder = glückliche Eltern

Sandaya Camping Lac de Sanguinet Sanguinet

A Good Experience overall. Some attention to detail needed.

The pool was closed for the first few days of our stay and there was no indication anywhere on site of that closure and the reason for it. The entrance to the pool was very slippy and we saw many people, young and old, fall. The accommodation was excellent but there was a tree growing in the middle of our decking with blossom falling constantly. When we arrived, blossom covered our decking and outdoor furniture and continued to do so for the duration of our stay. No effort had obviously been made to clean this up before our arrival. We should have been offered alternative accommodation as many units were empty for our whole stay. The area around our cottage was totally unkempt.

Lovely site. We were there for five night but unfortunately two of those nights were disrupted by a

We were there for five night but unfortunately two of those nights were disrupted by a large party of apparently a ?managerial conference? that went on til past one in the morning with much merriment. No sleep for those of us nearby. We chose this site for its supposed quietness with gates closed and a no noise policy after 10pm and no large parties allowed. We also thought the site was patrolled by security 24/7, guess we were wrong. Such a shame as the other three nights were wonderful.

Overall the site was nice. Staff were good too, pleasant and friendly. Pitch was okay and just big enough for us. A little tight for manoeuvring at the times when all the pitches were full, especially for those with larger caravans. The private sanitary facilities were okay, a bit smaller than the previous Sandaya site but adequate for our needs and showers were lovely and hot. Really disappointed that there was no real shop and really odd to buy a baguette from?a vending machine? We only bothered to use it once and had to go out especially when we ran out of milk too.

Camping Sandaya Péneyrals Saint-Crépin-Et-Carlucet

Positive experience

Our cabin was very nice, in good condition and clean. Check-in was fast and our cabin was ready for us. The park was generally good, pools and slides were great, the bakery and shop are good, the cabin areas were nice - particularly the premium area we stayed in, the WIFI was good, much better than we had experienced on other non-Sandaya campsites. The park is let down a little by some of the common areas; the bar/restaurant area is a bit dated and starting to look shabby, same with playground equipment. When we visited there weren't many english speakers in the park so the entertainment we saw was all in french. We brought bikes but didn't use them very much as the campsite is very hilly. Sandaya staff were pleasant and easy to deal with. All in all we had a great time.

Lovely place. Very clean . Staff very friendly. Children really enjoyed it. Only downside is being 5km from nearest supermarket. Shop on site is good for bread and water but not great for a family with 4 kids. I knew we were a bit far out when booking camping Valencia but I assumed there would be public transport. No one could tell us how to avail of public transport though as it’s hard to find an English speaking staff and unfortunately our Spanish was not good either. The issue with the supermarket is even though the staff will phone a taxi for you to get there you have to find your own way back. Taxi drivers won’t wait or take a booking for them to collect you in an hour or so again. They will give you their card but they don’t speak English and it’s impossible to book them over the phone. My recommendation would be to download the taxi firms online app and book the taxi through that.
