Camping Sandaya Domaine Le Midi Barbâtre

Lovely grounds and great proximity to the beach. Clean the toilets and sort out takeaway food timings

Really lovely looking campsite - the grounds are kept really well. Great proximity to the beach. However, the pitch sizes were a little small and cramped, the toilet blocks were never cleaned or disinfected. The takeaway restaurant did not synchronise our order, so the burgers and fries were ready 20 minutes before the pizza.

Estancia en general positiva pero no volvería.

Overall it was ok but not exceptional. The pool was too small. The location was good as it was nice

Overall it was ok but not exceptional. The pool was too small. The location was good as it was nice and close to the beach. The staff were friendly. The main problem was that the power kept going off which might have been due to the rain, but it took the staff a while to know how to fix it. The WiFi was pretty unreliable which I personally didn?t care about but my teenage children were concerned about. We didn?t eat in the restaurant but people I know did and enjoyed the pizzas. The accomodation was ok but could have been a bit better designed. A lot of space seemed to have been wasted on a spinning central console. Showers were good. Could have done with a mop though as floors get very dirty.

A nice 3 start campsite

The place is nice but some areas are looking a little tired and the jacuzzi had no heat after the first day we were there. There was one night with a band on which was great but there was nothing further during the week. It's a nice 3 start place to stay, just don't expect too much going on.

Nice site, needs some improving on cleanliness

On arrival Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets not as clean as I would expect, got worse as the week went on, smelly and the sink areas had toothpaste marks in throughout the day, clearly not been cleaned since early morning. Pool facilities were good, however the expectation that men and children do not wear swim shorts only Speedo’s was frustrating, my partner did not go in the pool the whole week. Bar staff were friendly but again the cleanliness wasn’t great which meant lots of flies in the area. The entertainment team were good but mainly in French, the music could be a bit more varied as hardly knew any songs. Overall the site is lovely but attention to some aspects, especially cleaning is needed.

Location of accommodation not great

The location of our accommodation wasn't great. We paid for a premium cabin but the outside space was completely in the shade and next to the road. If we wanted to sit on our sunbeds we had to sit on the path.
