Excellent site

Excellent site with helpful staff on reception who spoke English. Pool facilities were great particularly for the kids and very clean and safe. Bar service was a bit slow and would be easier to be able to order at the bar rather than from your table. The accomodation was clean however would have liked an oven or grill

Eine sehr schöne und saubere Anlage. Sehr gutes Wasserpark und der Strand ist direkt vor der Tür. Ich kann das nur Empfehlen. Bei den Sanitäranlagen wünsche ich mir Warmwasser da es Abends doch einwenig kühl ist und kalt duschen etwas schwierig.

Great holiday experience

We had a great holiday with our two children. The cleanliness and appearance of the campsite is excellent and the staff are working so hard to cater to everyone. The accommodation was nice and clean and a 10/15 minute walk to the pool and facilities. This is the first time we have been in high season and it feels like for the number of people staying there that there needs to be more room for the facilities (I.e more pool space, more sun beds, bigger entertainment/bar area. There also needs to be more staff in the food and beverage areas as they struggled to cope with demand during busy periods (the takeaway queue was very long with one member of staff). They all work so hard to please everybody and work long hours! Overall though a great holiday and will definitely be back!

Not their best site

Large campsite with good facilities but overrun by families during peak season. Very good swimming pool complex but lacked enough sun beds and virtually no shade - an issue when daily temperatures hit the high 30's.Not sure what the pool attendants were for but it certainly wasn't safety. I saw activities that would be banned in most pool complexes in Europe regularly ignored by them. Restaurant facilities inadequate (size and choice) for number of people on site. Supermarket amongst the best we have come across.

Camping Sandaya Soulac Plage Soulac-sur-Mer

Lovely campsite with good facilities, but pitches are too small for large tents.

Lovely campsite with good facilities, but pitches are too small for large tents. It feels like in a tin of sardines during high-season. Also, the beach access is awkward and not as close as it looks. It took us about 20 minutes to walk from the back of the campsite. Make sure your pitch is not on the main road as there is a lot of traffic going through the campsite all the time. We were glad not to be too close to the beach, as it can get very windy there. Back in the pine trees, you are sheltered from the wind, but it's further to walk. Our tent got a 10-15 cm tear from a falling pine cone.
