Camping Sandaya Le Moulin de l'Eclis Assérac

Great camp only let down by the aire de service. .

Overall very happy but not impressed with motorhome service area. There is an exposed toilet with surface water around and encroaching vegetation, making it difficult to empty cassette. To rinse the cassette you have to use the hose for filling the motorhome water tank. Very clean toilet block, very helpful staff and a nice restaurant. Great access to the huge beach.

Stayed at start of September x 1 week with 5 kids. Can't compliment the kids club and the evening entertainment enough. They were brilliant and definitely the highlight of my kids holiday. Pool area very strict even though not as busy as peak season. Restaurant very expensive, and mosquitoes a problem for us despite having deet spray. None of the kids got bitten, just adults. Overall a great experience

Im Vergleich zum letzten Urlaub auf einem Sandaya-Campingplatz (Les Vagues), ist dieser Platz bei weitem besser gepflegt und die Bepflanzung ansprechend. Die Sauberkeit des Platzes ist positiv zu erwähnen. Die Mobile-Homes sind durch ausreichend Bepflanzung diskret voneinander getrennt und haben auch meist genügend Abstand untereinander. Die Ausstattung ist standesgemäß und die Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Das Angebot im Supermarkt ist leider sehr überschaubar und die Preise überhöht. Baguette ist auch früh morgens nicht immer das frischeste. Es wäre zudem wünschenswert, dass es nicht nur im Premiumbereich hundefreie Cottages gibt, sondern auch in den anderen Bereichen des Campingplatzes. Nicht jeder findet es toll, wenn sich Hunde in den Cottages aufhalten und teilweise sogar in den Betten liegen.

Camping Sandaya Les Tamaris Frontignan

Kleiner, freundlicher Campingplatz am Meer

Unser Stellplatz war groß und sandig, direkt am Meer. Es gibt auch kleinere Plätze, die uns nicht gefallen hätten - das sollte man im Zweifel mit der Rezeption klären. Tatsächlich sind die Zufahrten für große Gespanne eng, auch da hilft ein Anruf bei Rezeption sicher weiter. Mit unserem kleinen Wohnwagen war es unproblematisch. Die Sanitäranlagen wurden gründlich geputzt - für Hinterlassenschaften unsauberer Mitmenschen kann das Servicepersonal nichts. Uns störten auch fehlende Toilettenbrillen nicht, im Zweifel nehme ich die Toilette nebenan. Ausnahmslos alle Mitarbeiter des Campingplatzes waren total freundlich und zuvorkommend und immer bemüht, die Gäste in ihrem Anliegen zu unterstützen. Der Pool war toll und warm - wir wollten gar nicht mehr raus. Im Restaurant kann man super essen. Der Shop ist mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet, es gibt leckeres Baguette und Croissants, wer mehr braucht findet einen Utile 500 m entfernt. Es gibt nicht viele Bäume auf den meisten Stellplätzen, man sollte also für Schatten sorgen. Man kann wunderbar Fahrrad fahren - es gibt viele Radwege in der Umgebung und Sete und Montpellier sind gut erreichbar - übrigens auch per Bus und Bahn. Wir waren überrascht, dass Anfang September noch so viele Plätze belegt waren. Für uns war der Preis in Ordnung, in der Woche davor wäre es allerdings deutlich teurer gewesen. Einzig die WLAN Gebühren könnte man überdenken: das gibt es inzwischen an vielen Plätzen kostenlos, aber das weiß man ja, wenn man dort bucht vorab schon. Wir schauen nicht auf die Anzahl der Sterne, die ein Campingplatz hat, sondern auf die Menschen, die ihn betreiben und auf die Sauberkeit und Infrastruktur vor Ort - da gab es kaum etwas zu meckern. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche!

Wir hatten grundsätzlich einen schönen Aufenthalt. Waren seit 12 Jahren immer mit yelloh-village in Frankreich und haben 2023 Sandaya ausprobiert. Die Qualität unseres mobil-home mit whirlpool war in Ordnung. Leider gab es diverse kleinere Defekte die mit Hinweis auf das Alter der Unterkunft nicht repariert wurden. Leider gilt dies auch für die E-Auto Ladestation die nicht benutzbar war. Auch die schlechte Warmwasserversorung in der Dusche war ärgerlich. Der Weg zum Strand war von zahlreichen Hundehaufen übersät - das geht natürlich zuerst an die Hundebesitzer aber sobald der Regen den Weg "flutet" wäre ein Holzsteg oder Laufmatten die es an anderen Strandabschnitten gibt super. Ärgerlich fanden wir auch die Reservierungen im Restaurant. Wir wurden einmal abgelehnt, dann schickte ich meine Frau und wurden angenommen -grins. Essen war aber super. Es hat uns trotz allem gefallen. Die Anlage hat Charme und die Mitarbeiter sind alle nett und hilfsbereit.

Alles bestens: schöne, gepflegte Anlage, die zwei von uns gemieteten Cottage friends waren ordentlich und funktional, das Unterhaltungsprogramm am Abend war vor allem für unsere Kinder sehr lustig. Schade nur, dass Informationen und Ansagen zusätzlich nur auf englisch und nicht auch auf deutsch angeboten wurden.
