We spent a lovely week here mid October. Location perfect for walking to the beach. A tiered pitch

We spent a lovely week here mid October. Location perfect for walking to the beach. A tiered pitch with shade in the summer. Facilities were all good and a beautiful pool. Reception staff so helpful and friendly especially when we had to book a vets appointment for our dog. We will certainly come back here again.

The camp site was chosen for being situated close to Paris. The mobile homes were good and we had a nice stay. We didn't use the facilities as we went to Paris every day.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Für unseren Kurzurlaub um Paris zu besichtigen war die Mietuntekunft super. Es war alles sauber und in Ordnung. Die Lage des Campingplatzes ist schön und die Verkehrsanbindungen nach Paris sind TOP. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich.

Camping Sandaya Riviera d'Azur Saint-Aygulf

Good campsite with plenty of facilities. Great for the Roc d'Azur MTB festival in October.

Good campsite with plenty of facilities. It's much larger than we would normally book, but we were there early October when it was very quiet and as a retired couple this suited us just fine. The pitch private sanitaire was plenty big enough for our 8 metre caravan. It has a small but adequate bathroom, only lacking a towel hook or two. We expected to also have a waste and water outlet to connect to our caravan but this wasn't the case. Biting insects were troublesome around dusk, perhaps because our pitch was close to the lake. The pitch was well shaded due to high hedges on three sides and plenty of trees. This made it very private, but on the down side there was no view at all so we felt a bit isolated for 2 weeks. It was a long walk from our pitch to the bins outside the campsite but it means the refuse lorries don't have to come in, so is understandable and not a problem to us. Staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant were helpful and efficient, and the big TVs showing the rugby world cup were much appreciated. We didn't use the entertainment, pools or the sports facilities, so cannot comment on those but families seemed to be enjoying them. The Roc d'Azur mountain bike festival took place whilst we were there, one of the routes even coming right through the campsite next to our pitch. As mountain bikers ourselves this added some interest and we enjoyed watching the event from several different places within a few miles of the campsite.

Insgesamt ein toller Campingplatz. Sehr schöne Lage, Paris ist mit dem RER schnell zu erreichen, sehr freundliches Personal. Laden und Schwimmbad waren auch im Oktober durchgehend offen. Das war sehr angenehm. Als alleinreisende Frau finde ich es vor allem im Herbst schwierig, dass ich ab 22.00 Uhr nicht mehr mit dem Auto auf den Platz kann, sondern es draußen stehen lassen muss und im Dunkeln zu Fuß auf den Platz muss.

Connection point to Paris city centre

Nice clean campsite. Close to Paris city centre via RER A line. Cabins are nice and clean. Only downfall is someone entered our cabin while away for the day and stole a sum of cash from our room. This was very disappointing.

Really nice Campsite overall, great location to central Paris and great facilities with the bar/restaurant and pool particularly good - our touring pitch ground had sparse grass so was a little loose and muddy in mornings, I suggest sanding or shell/stones would help. The toilet cleaning timings seemed to vary which is not ideal.

If you have a big rig or caravan be mindful of the approach and ensure you check the route before embarking. Some of the roads are tight.

We had a very nice autumn vacation in Sandaya Riviera d’Azur. The mobile home was beautiful and the location was great. Two critics regarding the campsite: 1. There was only one location to dump litter on the whole campsite. From other campsite we were used to have several bins on different locations. 2. the prices in autumn were really fair but during summer time the same mobile home costs 6 times more!!! That’s makes the campsite very unattractive for summer holidays.
