Overpriced and mud pitch - very disappointed

Having toured France for over forty years, staying on many campsites, in my opinion this is not a five star site. My overall experience was satisfactory. Our pitch was in a corner and was just dry mud and when it rained a wet mud pitch. Our family were in two lodges at the same site but we could not invite them to our pitch for food/drinks as you were just sitting on mud. We stayed six nights and went every morning for the first four mornings to ask reception to move to one of the many grassy vacant pitches but they would not entertain this. It was only on the fourth morning after politely complaining and asking for the manager (who would not speak to us) that we were offered the pitch next to us which was no better. We were really looking forward to our holiday at this site and were so disappointed. I doubt we will ever go back.
