Lovely clean campsite. We arrived about 45 minutes after reception closed due to lots of roadworks & traffic. We phoned ahead & the reception staff were very understanding & helpful. As we had already completed check in prior to arrival the night security had everything we needed when we arrived after our horrendous day of travel. Unfortunately, the staff in the pizzeria were not as helpful. When we went to order some food to takeaway after travelling all day the told us they stopped taking takeaway order at 9pm? this was 9.06pm. We explained how we?d been delayed arriving but to no avail. We had to leave the campsite & drive to nearby cherbourg to get dominoes pizza in order to have something to eat. It really was such a pity.
