We were very happy with the location and layout of our friends cottage. It was private and had a spacious outdoor area. We felt that the kitchen utensils/bedding could have been of a higher quality and newer. For example we didn't have a decent sharp knife and the bedding was worn! Also the cottages hadnt recieved the highest standard of cleaning on our arrival . There were lots of fingerprints and smears on cupboards, microwave, mirrors etc The site was pleasant with a waterpark. However, the water slides were out of action for at least half of our stay which was disappointing. The surrounding area was stunning with beautiful clean empty beaches which were easily accessible. It took us a few days to get our heads around the opening times/ days of snack bar, shop etc but we know these restrictions are usual in lower season. More rainy day activities for children would have been welcome.
