We had an enjoyable time at Maisons Laffitte in our two bedroom cottage. We did have some issues with appliances, like the faulty toaster and a malfunctioning gas cooktop, but these were generally repaired quickly. We were surprised not to be given a checklist on arrival to see all items were in the cottage and only received it after I requested it. There were issues with the security deposit provider Swickly, which kept declining our credit cards, leaving no option to pay this. The cottage was a bit small and provided no space in bedrooms for suitcases. We think bath towels and hand towel for each guest should be provided. Other than that, it is the best place to stay in greater Paris and we will always come back here. The taxi which was booked at the front desk to get to the Maisons Laffitte railway station was quoted to us as ?5-10, but charged us ?20 which was ridiculous for the short distance. The wifi is dreadfully overpriced for access and needs reviewing.
