Unprofessional and rude

We were conned at this campsite. We booked our 80m2 pitch through another provider (All Camps) which was perfectly adamant for our car and caravan. When booking we entered in the size of our caravan etc so I assume Sandaya are then aware of the size. On arrival we were given the pitch but when we went to the concierge to show us the way, he said there was no way we would be able to access the pitch. So I went back to reception to be told I would have to pay over £350 to upgrade to a larger pitch. When I asked how this was fair when there’s no way I could have known the accessibility of their pitches on booking and when we are able to fit into a 80m2, I was given the cold shoulder. At that point, I asked what other options I had. If we were to leave there and then would I get any sort of refund on the original purchase. I was shrugged off again and told there would be no refund. With 4 very young children in the car after a long day of travelling, I felt sandaya absolutely took advantage of my situation and forced money from my hand. There was no empathy to the situation, no understanding and no accountability. It was pay the £350 or lose your other £700. This was a very bad start. The rest of the time was filled with noise, rude staff and attempting to not get run over by cars and scooters. I would not recommend at all! Beware.
