The place was far too overcrowded. Restaurant hadn’t enough staff and were stressed, took over an hour to take order. Lots of people around us also complained and some walked out without being fed. Food choices on menu not available but we were not told this until after. Our lovely waitress said the dish we tried to order hasn’t been available since the start of June. Food was ok but not worth the wait. The manager of the restaurant told us that senior management don’t care that it’s understaffed, they just care about money! Was surprised by their honesty but it’s very visible so know it to be true. Could never get a bed at the pool, walked around on burning ground with bare feet (no footwear at all allowed in pool area) Spent 20 mins most day’s looking for a bed, 4 of us had to share one, all of them on top of each other, dreadfully uncomfortable, same every time we went, people fighting over beds, horrible experience. Toilet facilities beside bar/restaurant are disgusting in EVERY way, rather walk 20mins back to base than use them. Saw numerous boys/men wearing underwear instead of correct swimming pants, our guys were forced to buy tiny skin tight speedo style ones as we were told is was for hygiene, no problem, but underwear? The most disgusting and unhygienic of all, no enforcement to stop them either! Vile… Nothing 5star about Sequoia Parc! Kitchen utensils awful and melted, blunt knives, not fit for cooking, so we had to leave the park to find places to eat on our last few days. We left 2 days early as we couldn’t stick another minute. Paid €2317 for a week and felt robbed, overpriced and understaffed. Never again will we set foot on another Sandaya campsite!
