Not great but good location for travel

Pros We arrived here and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady on reception. The accommodation was clean and ready on arrival and the camp site in general is clean and tidy. It is conveniently located to travel to local attractions by car. Can not comment on the communal sanitary facilities as we did not use them. Cons Severely lacking in entertainment for all ages in the evenings. Playground lacking for more than a 10 minute run around. Our accommodation was next to a neighbouring bar which played music and had crowds cheering up to 11pm on a number of nights during our stay. The accommodation also did not have an oven to cook food. The shower without moving the dial would fluctuate between boiling hot and freezing cold constantly. The swimwear has very strict rules. Swim shorts have been accepted at every campsite we have ever stayed at but at this one only tight fitting underwear style shorts are permitted. This was not made clear before arrival and without our car and being able to travel to buy the swimwear would would have had no access to the pool during our stay as swimwear is not sold in the onsite shop. ( So many people asked to leave the pool during our stay with upset children due to this)
