Not a great experience for us. We had hoped to benefit from the great facilities on offer. We may have felt the benefits, if not for having put on a pitch (in a small tent) adjacent to the unnecessary flood lights of the central complex which kept us awake all night (we were told the flood lighting was for safety, but there were also street lights in place to mark out the walk ways etc which would have been more than adequate for safety), and the loud obnoxious noise from the central complex and pool area (seriously; play the same stuff or choose just one!!!).....the literature stated focus on quiet time between 10pm and 9am. This was not enforced. The music from the central/restaurant was not due to end until 11pm. This, and the flood lighting over the kids football area meant that children and adults were almost encouraged to play loudly without supervision until very late indeed! As you'd expect with a "campsite", people awaken early...therefore putting tents directly next to the bins and carpark seemed somewhat unkind!
