Reception opens at 14:00, if you turn up then expect a queue. the road to the campsite is narrow with cars parked on each side, if you have a particularly long or wide vehicle you may struggle, particularly later in the day when people have arrived back from work. the site is well-positioned a max. 15 minute walk to the shops, restaurants, bars and station. on site facilities are good but we were there in mid September and the pool was closed and there was no evening entertainment. Pitches are good but those bordering the Scene tend to be on a slope and grip is an issue if it rains heavily.
