Excellent camping site. Top of class service. One of the best.

Le Littoral is the best of all three Sandaya camping sites that we had the pleasure to visit in 2022/23. It takes the already high standards of Sandaya to the next level. Well-prepared, friendly welcome, visible yet non-intrusive security personnel, super helpful staff and an exquisite animation team all prove why Le Littoral won the 2022 prize for best Sandaya campsite. The restaurant is another highlight and I can recommend all dishes that we ordered. A big plus is that all dishes can also be ordered for take-away, including a whole roasted chicken. This comes in handy as the restaurant is often fully booked. Tasty bakery items and a well-sorted shop add to the flavor. The swimming area is excellent, slides are great and indoor area has a versatile set of pools. Especially the indoor water-park saved us on a few days as we had some rainy weather. The Sandaya app is a must, especially, wenn booking Mini, Junior or Teen Club spaces. The app even informs you when the sessions close and your infant has been booked in/out. The activities offered were ranging from excursions to swimming or golf lessons and left little to be desired. The beach is a rocky slope, so for sun-bathing outside the ressort you should take the car or shuttle to Veillon beach. Do not miss to visit Sables d'Olonnes, maybe have breakfast at Mayday and also the castle ruin of Talmont, especially in the Medieval week. I was lucky to join the local crowd for a spectacular openair latenight show. We had a great tent site, yet all the cottages looked a million. Highly recommended.
